I'm a community minister living in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains north of Van Buren, Arkansas. Since my ordination in 2002, I've served Unitarian Universalist congregations in Connecticut and Arkansas. In 2022, I began a community ministry focused on my work as a spiritual director and writer.
I earned a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and completed the spiritual direction training program at the Spiritual Life Center in Hartford, Connecticut. I'm also trained as a spiritual direction supervisor. Before following my call to ministry, I earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and worked as an attorney.
Learning is a part of my spiritual practice. I'm a recent graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where I received a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (slowly, taking a course now and then over several years) with concentrations in creative writing and gender studies. I write poetry and creative nonfiction and I'm at work (slowly) on a novel inspired by women who fly.
